“There have been overflows, but by outsiders”denounced Saturday March 18 evening on franceinfo Vincent Gautheron, regional secretary of the CGT Ile-de-France, after the demonstration against the pension reform enamelled by numerous excesses from the place of Italy, in the 13th arrondissement of the capital city.

This Saturday at 10:30 p.m., 81 people were arrested on the sidelines of this demonstration, which quickly degenerated because of “disturbers”according to the police. “It was the arrival of external elements that caused these overflows”confirmed the trade unionist, on the initiative of this demonstration.

“The best security measure to avoid these overflows is the pure and simple withdrawal of the bill”added Vincent Gautheron, who points to a government “which has continued to exacerbate anger and tension for more than two months”. “So far, the demonstrations organized at the call of the inter-union are taking place peacefully”recalled the regional secretary of the CGT.
