“It was complicated to find a house”: Camille Lacourt and Alice Detollenaere, their new life in Marseille

It has been several months now Camille Lacourt and his companion Alice Detollenaere left Paris to settle in sunny Marseille with their 1-year-old son Marius. A report was devoted to them in the new issue of 50 Minutes Inside broadcast this Saturday, October 29 on TF1.

The city of Marseille is no stranger to Camille Lacourt as he lived there for ten years during his brilliant career as a professional swimmer. By leaving the Parisian atmosphere, the couple also wanted to bring a better quality of life to their son. “We weren’t the only Parisians to want to go down south. It was difficult to find a house. I said to myself: ‘At worst, it’s rental, it’s furnished so we can change directly. We have to take it'”says Camille Lacourt. “This house, we took it without having seen it, completes his companion Alice Detollenaere. I came here to collect the keys. And it’s true that at the time I cried because, the fact of not having chosen, it was a bit hot”, she says with emotion. It is also she who takes care of the decoration within this residence by posting in particular posters of her darling at the time when he was a swimmer.

Camille Lacourt and his partner Alice also took the opportunity to share some secrets about their life as young parents with their son who already feels at home in Marseille. “It’s organization.
