Parents fear the worst after a bus crashed head-on into a Laval daycare on Wednesday morning.

“It was chaos,” said the Log Sarah Murphy.
The mother of a 5-year-old child, who attends the Sainte-Rose educational daycare, arrived on the scene a few seconds after a bus from the Société de transport de Laval hit the front of the building head-on.

According to the preliminary report, at least five people were injured.
“There were a lot of parents helping get kids out who were stuck under the bus,” says Ms. Murphy.

The daycare kitchen and a room were completely destroyed during the impact.
After the impact, the driver stripped naked and incited a relative at the scene to fight, Ms Murphy said.
“This is where a relative immobilized him waiting for the police. They arrived fairly quickly and took it out, ”says the mother of the family.
“What a terrible tragedy this morning in Laval. There is nothing worse than being afraid for your child,” Quebec Premier François Legault quickly commented on Twitter.
