In March 2023, Amandine and Alexandre Pellissard announced that their family was going to grow. The young mother, revealed in the show, Large families: life in XXL on TF1 will give birth to a ninth baby after Léo, born from a previous relationship, Léna, Alina, Louna, Adam, Charles, Hector and Octave.
“It’s very fresh, we just learned”she said during a passage on the Twitch by David Barbet. “We’ve been waiting for it for so long, we tried, but it didn’t work. We gave up, we forgot, we just found out a week ago”explained her husband. “We said our ninth was the last and then we stop there. We’re a big family, we already have a lot of work. The boys want a little brother, the girls want a little sister. Frankly, it is great”.
On May 2, 2023, we learned that the couple would therefore welcome a little girl in the coming months. But what will it be called? On instagram, the 30-year-old explained that she had opted for Maéna. A first name with Greek origins which means “moon”. For the middle name, the choice fell on Désirée. “I find it very beautiful. We’ve loved this name for a long time”explained Alexandre during a live on the social network. “We thought we would never have a daughter or a child againadded his wife. It took me so long to get pregnant that the middle name will be Désirée. We joked that we would call it that whether it was a girl or a boy.”
Tribute to his dad
Another reason why Désirée was chosen was mentioned: “The root of my father’s first name is Désir, so that makes sense…”. A few days ago on social networks, Amandine Pellissard shared terrible news: the death of her dad. She shared a series of photos of him, in his company dating back a few years with this text. “My dad, you left on March 18, 2023… brutally. I learned about it today, May 3, 2023, in an unexpected and inappropriate way… I have regrets within me. Doubts and anger … and the one who hurt me all this is not you but your youngest brother. There I am in the worst pain I just think of you and the regrets that go with it”.
