The 61-year-old singer evokes all the defining moments of his life, even those that he would have undoubtedly wanted to erase from his memory. But “disturbing” moments of which he has good memories, Florent Pagny evokes a lot in his book.

Especially when he gives him the reply in the 80s, for the filming of “Fort Saganne” by Alain Corneau. A feature film in which he finds Sheila O’Connor. Actress he already knew thanks to her role in the TV movie “Not recoverable”. But the star who really marked him during this shoot is none other than Gérard Depardieu.

Florent Pagny, too sincere with Gérard Depardieu?
Already considered one of the greatest at the time, the presence released by the 74-year-old actor seems to have a bit frightened Florent Pagny. Especially when his counterpart cropped him in the middle of filming. “I have a difficult memory of filming. Gérard was already a huge star, I was a very young beginner. I was very impressed, but that didn’t stop me from being myself”he says in his book when he talks about his “meeting” with the man who played his big brother in “Fort Saganne”.
If he didn’t stop himself from being himself, Azucena’s companion should perhaps have thought twice before saying what was going through his head. “You may know my tendency to say out loud what I’m thinking in a whisper – lukewarm isn’t my forte… It didn’t fail, one day Gérard put me in my place, sharply”he explains through his lines before admitting that this sequence had him “badly chilled for the rest of the shoot”. Despite everything, he does not want Gérard Depardieu, quite the contrary: “But he was right, he was the boss! I was just a kid who landed!”. Since this shoot, he has never had the opportunity to discuss it with the principal concerned. Indeed, after “Fort Saganne”he has not “never seen again” the 74-year-old comedian.
