Olivier Minne continues his fight for euthanasia. This Monday, February 13, 2023, the host of Fort Boyard took to his social networks to share an excerpt from an interview with Jonathan Denis, president of the Association for the Right to Die with Dignity. Invited to speak at the microphone of France Bluethe latter denounced “the lack of decision ‘for 40 years’ of debates @ADMDFRANCE”report our colleagues.
“It’s not hard. You take today all our border countries, they have all advanced or are about to advance on this debate. It is only us who still take the time to discuss and during this time, we let the French go abroad, we let French people not have access to sedation… Which is scandalous”was indignant Jonathan Denis.

Words that Olivier Minne shares 100%. Godfather of the ADMD Tour, the presenter has supported the cause for years. In 2017, he pointed out the limits of the law on the end of life on RTL by declaring: “It is intolerable not to be able to choose one’s end of life”.
“Life is a long reflection on death and I think for me it was from the age of 8 – 9 when I realized that I was destined for the destruction of me. It’s not easy to integrate that, so we learn over time to make this event our own, which must be part of life. We often think that death is outside of life. Well no… It’s the last moment , the ultimate moment of life”, he confided before lamenting that society increasingly rejects death. And to conclude: “There is no reason to live on this earth if we are not allowed quietly, serenely, to decide the conditions of our departure.”
