The two teams meet in the Queen City on Wednesday evening for the first match played on Canadian soil. The Pennsylvania club won the two clashes held on their land.
Barnes is suffering from a left ankle injury. This evil also prevented him from taking part in the second duel of the series.
The Raptors candidate for NBA Rookie of the Year had 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in Game 1 against the 76ers. During this game, Joel Embiid stumbled on his ankle with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. Barnes was writhing in pain after taking the weight off the center who weighs in at 280 lbs.
Additionally, the Raptors said they still don’t know if Gary Trent Jr. will be able to play Game 3. The 23-year-old is battling a virus that isn’t COVID-19. He was in Game 2 against the 76ers, but was pulled from the game because he wasn’t feeling well.
