“It disgusts me”, Gad Elmaleh tackles Kev Adams

TF1 rolls out the red carpet for him! This Friday, Kev Adams will offer the retransmission of his last show Mirror, recorded from the Zénith de Nantes. In his new show, the comedian and sworn Mask Singer made the choice to “look in the mirrors of your life” as the trailer promotes: “In their reflections (…) all the facets of the Kev that you thought you knew: the artist, the kid who doubts, the 30 year old man who asks himself lots of questions, the old man that he sometimes is, the star loved as much as hated, the son, the brother… and even the father (…) By looking at himself, it is also the entire society whose image he sees and it is not always beautiful to see”.

A show that millions of viewers and fans of the actor should logically watch, but among them might not be Gad Elmaleh. Kev’s great friend, who will also participate in the documentary offered in the second part of the evening and which retraces the first thirteen years of Kev Adams’ career since We just want to laugh about it And SODA who revealed it to the public, doesn’t seem to really want to look at it, as the comedian said during his only one on stage. In a trailer he shared on X (formerly Twitter), the 30-year-old reveals the last discussion he had with his friend.

“Don’t be like Gad…”

“I have a real problem with my image. To give you a very specific example, when I come across myself by chance on TV, in a show or in a film, I skip straight away. It disgusts me, I think That’s horrible. I said to myself: Is it just me, or is this just an artist thing in general? ? So, I called Gad Elmaleh. I asked him : Does it do that to you too? ? He told me : Yeah, every time I come across you on TV, I skip straight away, it disgusts me revealed the comedian while bursting out laughing. A rather funny sequence that he captioned: “Tonight, don’t be like Gad, and spend the evening on TF1!”

His last concert achieved very good scores

Kev Adams’ last show, Be 10 years oldwas broadcast live on TF1 in December 2019. The comedian achieved a very good audience, bringing together 3.21 million viewers for 29% of housewives and 38% of 15-24 year olds. The actor, however, did much better than Franck Dubosc, since a few months later, in August 2020, the show by the Camping actor, called Fifty-Fitfyachieved the worst bonus score in the history of TF1, gathering only 1.07 million followers and less than 10% of housewives!
