The bodies of six hostages kidnapped during the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 were found in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, August 31, provoking virulent criticism of the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.

“They were abandoned, again and again”shouts Ela Ben Ami, the daughter of a hostage still in Gaza. “I hope my father is strong enough, that he survives, and that we will be able to get him out. For now, we are only bringing back bodies, this cannot continue.”she confides. According to the Israeli army, the hostages were executed before its intervention near the Rafah tunnels (Gaza Strip). Their deaths date back less than three days. Hamas, for its part, mentions Israeli bombings.
