On the night of Tuesday April 4 to Wednesday April 5, clashes broke out in the compound of the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem (Israel).
Tuesday, April 4, the Ramadan prayer ends and everything is still calm in front of the mosque al-Aqsabut two hours later inside the holy place, there are scenes of violence and chaos. Israeli police bludgeon worshipers, women scream. On the red prayer carpets, dozens of Palestinians are arrested and handcuffed. The Israel Police provided their own footage and version of events.

Tensions as Jewish extremists claim the right to come and pray on this esplanade of mosques.
