“Two Palestinians were killed by live Israeli ammunition”, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. They are Ossaid Abou Ali, 22, and Abdel Rahmane Abou Daghash, 32, according to the same source.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since the Six Day War in 1967. Excluding annexed East Jerusalem, the territory is now home to around 490,000 Israelis who live in settlements considered illegal under international law. The Palestinians, who want to create their own independent state, are calling for Israel’s withdrawal from all lands it occupied during the Six-Day War and the dismantling of all Jewish settlements.
