The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that they have signed American defensive tackle Israel Antwine to a contract.
Antwine, a six-foot-four, 295-pound athlete, played three seasons with the Oklahoma State University Cowboys.
In 34 games, he racked up 29 defensive tackles and 36 assists and more forcing a fumble and recovering one. He played for the University of Colorado Buffaloes in his freshman year.
In 2019, he received an All-Big 12 (coaches) mention. In 2020, the 22-year-old was voted to the Academic All-Big 12 first team.
In 2021, the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma native was selected to the Academic All-Big 12 second team. He was part of the Jacksonville Jaguars organization last year.
