(Ottawa) Evacuation flights from Tel Aviv will be offered in the coming days to extricate Canadians stuck in the region, announced the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly.
“We plan to begin the assisted departure of Canadians from Tel Aviv in the coming days, with the help of Canadian Armed Forces planes,” wrote the head of diplomacy on the X network early Tuesday evening.
The flights will be offered “to Canadian citizens, their spouses and children, as well as Canadian permanent residents, their spouses and children,” she added.
The government is also working on “additional options” for those who would not be able to go to the capital, indicated Minister Joly.
