The family of a Canadian-Israeli woman who has been missing since Hamas militants ambushed a music festival in southern Israel has announced that she has lost her life.
Shir Georgy, 22, went missing after the attack on the music festival near Kibbutz Re’im last Saturday.
Shir Georgy’s aunt, Michal Bouganim, emphasizes that the family is in disarray and heartbroken.
Michal Bouganim announced that the family is preparing to organize M’s funeralme Georgy in Israel tonight.
She shared a video earlier this week where we see Mme Georgy sit on the ground and take shelter with other people.
Mme Georgy is the fourth Canadian person to die in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
