Temperatures will rise again this week in the Dordogne. We are expecting up to 37 degrees in places on Friday June 17. With these high temperatures, the municipalities keep registers of vulnerable and isolated people who live at home, in order to provide them with assistance in the event of prolonged heat.
To Perigueux, a letter was sent to the 7,000 people over the age of 65 to offer them to register on the municipal register. People who have completed the information form will be called once a week by the municipal center for social action. If the heat wave plan is triggered by the prefecture, they will be called every day. There is still time to register by contacting the CCAS at 05.53.53.11.54.
To Bergerac, a registry is also in place. To register, you must call 05.53.74.66.44 or complete an online form available here.
To Sarlatthe intercommunal center for social action offers isolated people or their relatives to call the 05.53.31.88.88 or send an email to [email protected].
