Islanders: Free food for life for Roy following his hiring

Since good news never comes alone, Patrick Roy’s time behind the bench of the New York Islanders will allow him to never be hungry again.

Indeed, following the announcement of his hiring as head coach of the club, the Italian specialty restaurant Borelli’s, located on Long Island and created in 1955 by three brothers from Naples in Italy, will offer him free food for life.

Roy’s journey with the Islanders will begin on Sunday, when the Dallas Stars visit UBS Arena. As a reminder, the Islanders will face the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Center on Thursday.
