Islamism: funding hate in the name of openness

From 1er on July 3, the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) will hold its conference in Toronto and will receive several speakers. While promoting Islam, this group says it is “devoted to building a tolerant Canada, free from hate.” So I got interested in some guests.

There is the Syrian Mohammed Ratel Al Nabulsi. The latter has already declared that homosexuality must be punished by death, while specifically criticizing our country for the rights of homosexuals. “In Canada if you have a Canadian sex partner, you are eligible for citizenship. It’s scary. We are very lucky in our countries.”

Ax blows

The MAC also invites the Mauritanian Mohammed Al-Shinqiti. On May 6, he publicly rejoiced at an attack in Israel. Palestinian terrorists had attacked people by hitting them on the head with axes and shouting “Allah Ouakbar”. They killed three people and injured several others.

Al-Shinqiti also appears with Youssef Al-Qaradawi, whom he praises. The latter is a spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the MAC claims to be the founder of this organization. Al-Qaradawi notably stated that Hitler had been sent by Allah to earth to punish the Jews.

I spoke to you recently about another speaker, Omar Abdelkafi, who has already said, among other things, that a woman who reveals her hair “deserves the punishment of the grave” and who asserts that 9/11 is a plot by the States -United. Well, imagine that it is no longer on the program, without anyone knowing why. Perhaps the MAC does not wish to draw attention to the quarantine of other guests and about whom there would be a lot to say too?

3.2 million

It must be said that it has a lot to lose in subsidies. According to data obtained under the Access to Information Act, this Islamist group received $3.2 million in subsidies, between 2009 and 2022, from the federal government. This funding was granted through programs aimed at “increasing the capacity to deal with racism, discrimination and hatred” and promoting “Canadian identity”. Some of the money even comes from the Department of Public Security. You can not make that up!

This kitty also serves the organization in its denunciation of Bill 21. She called it Islamophobic in an educational video intended for Ontario schools. All parties in the National Assembly (except QS, of course) condemned the MAC on this subject.

What do you want? Law 21 is terrible! That’s why Justin Trudeau recently announced that he would challenge it in the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, his government is opening Canada’s doors to MAC guests instead of banning them. As our Prime Minister so aptly puts it, “diversity is our strength”!
