Isabelle Mergault talks about a famous French actor

A return to the small screen. This Saturday, October 21, 2023, the play Goodbye I stay will be broadcast in prime time on the TMC channel. A work in which Isabelle Mergault plays alongside comedian Chantal Ladesou to form a powerful comic duo.

A performance on stage which dates back to 2012-2013 and which is very far from being the 65-year-old woman’s only breakthrough in the world of theater or even cinema. As proof, the latter is among the cast of the film It will hurt(1982) by Jean-François Davy.

A film for which Isabelle Mergault collaborated with Hubert Deschamps, the famous actor of Zazie in the metro(1960) or even Open mouth (1973).

“I see him with his nose…”

A professional meeting that the latter had commented on on the set ofWe are not in bed

in 2006 while promoting her film I find you very beautiful.

Indeed, the director particularly remembered that the late Hubert Deschamps was “alcoholic as not allowed”before revealing that she had been marked by the actor’s nose which she considered imposing: “He played the role of an alcoholic in the film. I see him with his face and I say to him: ‘ah that’s good, they did really well on your makeup!’ And then the makeup artist calls her…”

An anecdote that says a lot about this actress who has lost none of her spontaneity since!
