After Halloween, which entertained stars like Beyoncé, it’s time for Christmas! So yes, we will have to wait a few weeks before opening the presents under the tree… But the management of the famous and department store Printemps Haussmann, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, decided that it was not too early to start decorating and thus slowly but surely revive the magic of the Christmas holidays. Consequently, the actress Isabelle Huppert and the supermodel Naomi Campbel were both invited to come and inaugurate the famous Christmas windows of the establishment.
The two stars therefore met this Wednesday, November 9 at the end of the afternoon to cut the ribbon and therefore launch the festivities. Accompanied by Jean-Marc Bellaiche, CEO of Printemps and Pascale Lepoivre, CEO of LOEWE (Spanish luxury ready-to-wear house), the two celebrities, friends of Maison LOEWE, seemed to like each other since they notably been photographed exchanging a few knowing glances in front of the store.
An incident beyond their control
Models Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber were originally invited to this event. But they were retained in the United States “following an incident beyond their control“, could we read in a press release relayed by the store. But the event was finally maintained since we quickly found them replacements, and not the least!
Note that for this year 2022, Printemps has decided to put the circus in the spotlight in its Christmas decorations. Young and old alike will therefore be led, over the next few weeks, to marvel at the ballets of trapeze artists and clowns while waiting for December 25th. It should also be noted that approximately three weeks were needed to set up these Christmas windows. But they are now installed, which means that the race for gifts has already started on Boulevard Haussmann!
