Isabelle Boulay no longer believed it: the “miracle” baby

The show “A Sunday in the Country” was back this Sunday March 3, 2024 on France 2. In this program, host Frédéric Lopez takes several personalities away from the media tumult, for a weekend in order to offer a timeless moment conducive to confidences. Between emotion and laughter, everyone reveals themselves. Several highlights punctuate this atypical meeting, which allows small screen stars appreciated by viewers to speak with complete confidence, thanks to the kindness of the owner, full of empathy and humanity.

Isabelle Boulay was one of the celebrities featured in the show on March 3. The Quebec singer who has been in a relationship for more than seven years with politician Éric Dupont-Moretti spoke about her motherhood. The pretty redhead is in fact the mother of a young man named Marcus, now 15 years old and born from her relationship with her former producer Marc-André Chicoine.

“You know, when I saw him when he was born. My God… There are no words. It’s the only moment in my life where I said to myself: there is no one who can come and disturb us. I said to myself, finally someone who is there, for whom I could stop everything. Everything, everything, everything” she remembered. “I see him, very little, he was there, in front of me. My God, it was so beautiful”.

Against all expectations, Isabelle Boulay explained that she thought she would not be able to become a mother before the birth of her son. “My son, it was a surprise. I wasn’t supposed to have one and it’s a miracle. I had come to terms with the idea that I might be going to adopt a child with my best friend one day. And then I got pregnant while I was doing one of the biggest tours I had ever embarked on in my life.” she confided. And to conclude: “He is a child who is loved and he is fifteen years old now. He is an exquisite and lovely boy”.
