After Alexandra Lamy, Anne Marivin or Audrey Fleurot, another great actress made her appearance this Friday at the La Rochelle TV Fiction Festival: Isabelle Adjani, starring this year in the TV movie Diana of Poitiershad indeed made the trip to Charente-Maritime to meet the jury, chaired by Sandrine Bonnaire and the public.
And the least we can say is that, as with every public outing, the actress did the show : wearing a large black hat adorned with a veil, she was dressed in an equally dark and embroidered dress, with lace sleeves. A necklace of white pearls around her neck, she almost seemed to come out of a moment of contemplation for Queen Elizabeth II!
No wonder, since it’s good a noble and strong woman whom she recently interpreted and of whom she came to speak in La Rochelle, the unknown Diane de Poitiers. Favorite of the King of France, the young woman was considered a politician, as her influence was great. Interpreted by Isabelle Adjani, she should soon reveal herself to the public in a TV movie that promises to be a real event.
It must be said that its director, Josée Dayan, is rather a filmmaker who succeeds in everything: after a long career, she notably had the idea of the successful series Captain Marleau… in which a certain Isabelle Adjani had also played! The actress had also accepted this unexpected project on one condition: “I agreed to be part of it on the condition that we are as close as possible to what I liked in the book [dont l’épisode avait été adapté, ndlr]the personality of this disturbing woman“.
The two women now seem very close : in La Rochelle, they notably spoke together to the lucky ones who were able to discover their TV movie in advance.
Other actors from the feature film were also present: Samuel Labarthe, star of the series The Little Murders of Agatha Christie until 2020, has joined his partners, he who will play the role of François I, just like Jacques Spiesser. On the other hand, Joeystarr, Julie Depardieu, Virginie Ledoyen or Guillaume Gallienne, who will also be showing in the TV movie, were not present.
