Kim Kardashian could well stop reality TV.

The star has been studying law for several years with the aim of becoming a lawyer. If the exams are difficult to pass, while waiting to be admitted to the bar, she perseveres and uses her celebrity for the benefit of the prison reform that she wishes to advance in the United States.

Her commitment is visibly deep, since she declared at the TIME100 summit that she would have no problem doing without what has enriched her for more than a decade.

“I would be just as happy to be a full-time lawyer. This experience has really opened my eyes to so many things,” she said at the summit. “I took my sister Khloé to jail for the first time last week and it was an eye opener. I would like to spend my time doing that, with or without a camera.

Helping to free Alice Marie Johnson, sentenced to life in prison for a non-violent drug-related crime, was life-changing, she added, because she learned she was capable of make things change. However, she admitted that she was naïve at the time, not having taken the measure of the work to be done.

Kim Kardashian passed the “mini-bar”, the first year of law school in California, in 2021 and hopes to pass the bar in February 2025.
