The Russians deny wanting to carry out a possible nuclear strike in Ukraine. On Wednesday November 2, the Russian Foreign Ministry declared that its main priority was to avoid any confrontation between nuclear powers. Earlier, the Kremlin spokesman assured that the media inflated this threat.

But the Russians are constantly blowing hot and cold on this issue, since, the day before, former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev said that in the face of kyiv’s desire to recover the territories annexed by Russia, the use of nuclear weapon could be justified. What we can conclude from this, at this stage, is that the Russians like to remind people that they have this weapon. For the moment, nothing indicates that they are ready to use it.
