Before the midterm elections in the United States, which will take place on Tuesday November 8, American President Joe Biden points to the risk of chaos and puts warns against the 300 Republican candidates who would refuse to recognize the results in the event of defeat.
On Wednesday November 2, Joe Biden issued a grim warning less than a week before the US midterm elections. “American democracy is in danger. We see candidates for all important positions, governors, deputies, secretaries of state, who do not want to commit to recognizing the results”, declares the American president. An act “illegal” and “anti-American” according to him. To date, nearly 300 Republicans, candidates for the ballot next week, have not recognized the results of the last presidential election in 2020.
