Irish Celtic at the Olympia d’Arcachon, Saturday November 6, 2021!

Do you like dancing, violin, Bodhran and bagpipe singing? Don’t miss “Irish Celtic, the path of legends”, at the Olympia d’Arcachon, Saturday 6 November and win your invitations by listening to France Bleu Gironde!

Happy Irish Hour!

In this third and last opus of the “Irish Celtic” saga, we find the emblematic Paddy Flynn and Diarmuid. Father and son run the family pub which echoes traditional music, laughter and regular discussions. Customers dance to popular choruses. Beer is flowing freely. But Paddy knows it: the daily grind prevents him from living special moments with his son. What if, in this incessant whirlwind, the time had come to take a break? To give pride of place to exchange, sharing, transmission. Like a necessary rite between a father and his son. To break this routine and transmit to Diarmuid what he needs to know about his cultural identity and his family history, Paddy invites him to undertake an initiatory journey where Irish values and traditions will be combined.

Irish legend

Like the USA which has its legendary Route 66, synonymous with escape, freedom and discovery, Ireland also has its own; it bears the name of Chemin des Légendes! During 1h40, the whole Irish Celtic show troupe will accompany you on this unique journey, carried by timeless and intergenerational stories, catchy Irish dances punctuated by explosive tap dancing, and haunting Celtic music live… To be discovered live at the Olympia d’Arcachon with France Bleu, Saturday November 6, 2021 at 8:30 p.m. Note that the entire Irish Celtic troop will be back in Gironde at the Arkéa Arena in Floirac, Sunday March 6, 2022!
