A new attack hit the southern suburbs of Beirut (Lebanon) on the night of Thursday to Friday, October 4. Ali Khamenei, supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, believes that the strikes launched on Tel Aviv were “the least punishment” against the IDF.

On the night of Thursday to Friday, October 4, a hail of strikes from the Israeli army fell on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon. On site in the morning, entire buildings were razed, and the rubble is still smoking. The Israeli army claims that one of these buildings was used for Hezbollah meetings. This is one of the most significant bombings on this stronghold of the Shiite movement since Israel intensified its strikes twelve days ago.

Over this same period, 1,000 people were killed, including civilians, according to the official Lebanese count. The IDF, which refuses to stop its offensive, claims that the strikes were “to continue”. In Tehran this Friday morning, the response from the Iranian godfather of Hezbollah was not long in coming: “The operation carried out by our armed forces [en Israël, Ndlr] was the least of punishments.”declared Supreme Guide Ali Khamenei in front of a crowd of faithful, who came to pray and gather in memory of the leader of Hezbollah, eliminated by the Israeli army. The Iranian leader also legitimizes the October 7 attack perpetrated by Hamas.
