Iran seems willing to resume nuclear negotiations, but is currently refusing the return to its sites of inspectors whose accreditation has been withdrawn, the head of the International Energy Agency said on Thursday, September 26. (IAEA), Rafael Grossi. The Iranians “are showing signs of willingness to re-engage, not only with the IAEA, but also (…) with our former partners in the 2015 nuclear agreement”he said while indicating that Tehran did not want “put back on the list” inspectors whose accreditation had been withdrawn.

An initiative then welcomed by the governments of France, Germany and the United Kingdom, according to a press release from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The goal of these negotiations, stopped several times and then restarted, remains to save the international agreement concluded in 2015 with the Tehran regime by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (China, United States, France, Kingdom -United and Russia) plus Germany. Under the presidency of Donald Trump, Washington withdrew with a bang in 2018, provoking a series of sanctions against the Islamic regime.
