Invited to the castle of the Star Academy, Christophe Willem tackles his fellow artists

This year, the “Star Academy” is making a comeback on TF1! After more than fifteen years of absence, on October 15, 13 new students took part in their very first bonus before discovering the place where they were going to stay: the unmissable castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Since then, the academicians of this new edition have taken singing, dance and theater lessons, but they are also deprived of their mobile phones.

Invited to discuss with the students on November 2, the artist Christophe Willem also broached the subject of social networks with them. Indeed, the latter asked them the first thing he intended to do once they found their smartphones… And if some indicated that they would immediately look at the opinions of Internet users about them like Carla, others indicated that they intended to consult the messages that their loved ones left them throughout the adventure.

“In fact, with social media there is no right or wrong way to do it. The important thing is that you are really you and that it is a relationship that is natural. I know a whole bunch of people who use their networks and other artists with whom I am close who use their networks in an unnatural way and in a way that ultimately we always feel it. That is to say, if the thing is prefabricated, if it’s only 200% promotion and there’s no real pleasure in sharing things that look like you, it’s is somehow fake, did he declare. “What is important on the networks is above all not to start comparing like so and so uses by saying to yourself ‘yeah I’m really sucked compared to her, she has more followers’”, he concluded. Advice that captivated the students.
