More than a week after Lina’s disappearance, no major leads have yet emerged. But on Sunday, October 1, investigators carried out a search of a house located four kilometers from the teenager’s home.
All day on Sunday, October 1, scientists from the gendarmerie’s criminal institute combed a house located in a small hamlet, just four kilometers from Lina’s home. Equipped with Blue Star, a human blood detector invisible to the naked eye, investigators inspected the two floors of this large building. The dogs of the dog brigade searched the area, in vain. Still no trace of the girl.
A house was searched in the town
On the evening of September 30, the house owner’s two vehicles were seized for analysis, looking for possible DNA traces belonging to Lina. The man who lives here is a professor in his forties, heard as a simple witness. At this stage, according to investigators, no charges have been brought against him. His closest neighbor describes him as a discreet man, who lives alone in this house. The gendarmes were interested in this professor because of his vehicle which could match the dark-colored Clio seen on the route taken by Lina.
