This is the release Wednesday, February 9, of “Investigation into a state scandal”. The film, taken from a true story, returns to the François Thierry affair, named after this commissioner, accused of having favored the importation of several tons of drugs into France. In the casting, Roschdy Zem, Pio Marmaï and Vincent Lindon.

It’s a three-cushion pool table. First, a former police informant who reveals that several tons of drugs entered France at the request of the police themselves. Opposite, a journalist collects these confessions on this huge state affair. In the center, one of the greatest French police officers in charge of the fight against drugs and with questionable methods. This is the true story of Hubert Avoine, the authentic infiltrator, filmed some time before his death.

First in the service of the anti-drug police, he ended up denouncing its excesses. To collect these revelations, a journalist and an editorial staff are plagued by doubt, for fear of being manipulated. The real journalist in the story is an investigator from Liberation, who, over the course of his articles, revealed these drug imports made without the knowledge of justice, on the pretext of trapping traffickers. Four years ago, the informant died of illness, the big cop was indicted on him, so the file on this state scandal is not over.
