He explains that he does not understand Emmanuel Macron’s position, while the President of the Republic explained that he was waiting “the useful moment” to do it. “When is the right time?”asks Olivier Faure. “This is one where international public opinion, governments and Europe are throwing their weight behind and trying everything possible to stop this massacre.”

“We had to interrupt this tragedy”

To avoid “any form of complicity” with the “extreme right government” Israeli, Olivier Faure reiterates his demand for an embargo on weapons used in Gaza. “We must not participate, we must not be complicit in this massacre. Today there are enough testimonies and deaths for us to interrupt this tragedy”he concludes.

European elections: don’t put your foot down” for those who would like to “return to the political game”
