Internet users mad with rage, this “imposed” tribute for Pelé which does not pass at all!

A King left us a few days before moving on to a new year… A King who inspired many current football players and who knew how to make fans dream with his ball-to-foot magic. “King Pelé” passed away on December 29 and plunged the world of football into deep sadness. The many football stars were quick to pay tribute to this emblematic figure, if not the most emblematic, of the environment.

Starting with Neymar, the star of PSG, inconsolable at the announcement of the death of the legend. The Parisian striker paid tribute to him through a sublime text filled with emotion on Instagram. “Before Pelé, 10 was just a number. I read this sentence somewhere, at some point in my life. But this beautiful sentence is incomplete. I would say that before Pelé, football was just a sport. Pelé changed everything. He turned football into art, into entertainment. He gave a voice to the poor, to black people and above all: he gave visibility to Brazil. Football and Brazil have raised their status thanks to the King! He is gone, but his magic will remain. Pelé is ETERNAL!”he wrote on Instagram.

An idea, not so good…

His teammate at PSG, Kylian Mbappé, also did not forget to write him a sublime message and send him his last thoughts: “The king of football has left us but his legacy will never be forgotten. RIP KING”. This Monday, January 2, all of Brazil is accompanying Pelé on his last trip. But to really pay homage to him, FIFA President Gianni Infantino submitted an idea. An idea that does not seem to have convinced football fans as evidenced by the many reactions to this announcement on the Web.

Indeed, Gianni Infantino has announced that FIFA will ask all countries in the world to rename a stadium in the name of Pelé. “Ah well and why ???? I propose to rename the stadiums in the name of people who have died during genocide or even conflict for centuries….”, “must not be abused either. What has Pelé done for my country to deserve it quiet?”, “Well it’s good it’s not our God either we respect but life goes on don’t abuse lol”, deplored some in particular. If the idea was honorable at the start, it is not sure that it will go to the end…
