This dessert has only made us happy since the 1950s. Its name means “cheer me up”, or “lift me up”.
To save time, Marguerite advises you to mix instant coffee with cold water, so you can dip your spoons directly without having to let them cool.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 3 eggs
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 250 g of mascarpone
- 100g spoon biscuits
- 50 cl of cold coffee
- cocoa powder (Marguerite likes it as strong as possible)
Preperation :
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites. Leave in the refrigerator.
Beat the yolks with the sugar, gently add the mascarpone, then the whites.
Dip cookies in cold coffee.
Line the bottom of your dish with the cookies. Add the cream, then sprinkle with cocoa.
Put back in the refrigerator, the tiramisu will keep for 2 days, but it will be eaten before.
