The International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is back in force for a 39e edition in its festival format, from August 13 to 21, 2022.

The festival, which ranks among the most important in Quebec, is distinguished by being the largest gathering of hot air balloons in Canada. This year, the festival will welcome more than 80 hot air balloons from all over the world, including 12 special shapes. With the traditional flights, morning and evening, each take-off is unique.
The big stage will welcome as usual international artists, such as Quebecers and Canadians, as well as well-known comedians. None other than Jason Derulo, Charlotte Cardin, Billy Talent and Ludacris will perform there. For the most nostalgic, Marjo and La Chicane will also be there. The youngest will be pampered, among other things, by the presence of the artists Loud, Fouki and Koriass, and by the many DJ performances.
An evening of humor, “Le party de Mariana-Tounes & Plaisanteries”, is also on the program and will feature Mariana Mazza, Sarahmée, Roxane Bruneau, Cathy Gauthier, Jo Cormier, Laurence Nerbonne and the trio of comedians Martin Vachon, Stéphane Fallu and Michelle Desrochers in the first part.
