They are back today with a 4th album, “Insanistan”. If the word really existed, it would mean in Turkish the land of humans. It evokes both the uniqueness of each and the path we share with all living beings, from birth to decomposition.

Throughout the songs, Medz Bazar wants move a little further into the unknown, uniting their follies, which make them so alive. In this quintet with crossed cultures, each is a singer and a multi-instrumentalist. Their message of emancipation and fraternity is steeped in new and old popular traditions. In their mother tongues of Armenian, Turkish, English and French, they sing the story of an inner homeaccustomed to exile, interbreeding and renewal.
