The queen of soul and rock’n’roll is gone. Singer Tina Turner has died “peacefully” at the age of 83 following a long illness. “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tina Turner”indeed announced his entourage in a press release published on Instagram on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
Elected “Queen of Rock & Roll”, Tina Turner alone had won 11 Grammy Awards throughout her half-century career and was one of the most famous artists in the world with 200 million albums sold. The world of the fourth art is therefore in mourning since the announcement of the death of the singer who hugged in Switzerland, the country where she resided for many years. It is therefore quite natural that the stars of the whole world immediately wished to pay him a beautiful tribute. Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger, Oprah Cinfrey, Mariah Carey or even Afida Turner… All wanted to speak following the disappearance of the artist.

Line Renaud recounts her first meeting with Tina Turner
Via his Twitter account Line Renaud even wanted to tell an anecdote about his meeting with Tina Turner. “In the early 1970s, I hired Tina Turner when I was in charge of the artistic programming of the Kings Castle casino hotel, located on the edge of Lake Tahoe. I attended her rehearsals, she was unique. An immense artist with an extraordinary personality”, she first wrote via a first tweet.
And to add: “Unfortunately, following violence committed by her husband Ike, we had to cancel the show. Injured, she could no longer perform her show. Tina Turner was very fond of France, which gave her back a hundredfold.she concluded.
As a reminder, Tina Turner, had become in spite of herself the face of domestic violence. By denouncing the ordeal that her ex-husband Ike Turner had made her live during several interviews and in an autobiographical book called, “I, Tina”, the singer had turned into a symbol of resilience for millions of victims. A reputation not desired by the latter since this image sent him back to his past as a battered woman.
