Injured man found near train tracks in Montreal

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is investigating to try to clarify an incident with nebulous circumstances that occurred in the Pointe-Saint-Charles sector.

Around 12:45 p.m., a call was placed to 911 for a person found injured near the train tracks located at the intersection of Charlevoix and Reading streets.

The paramedics and firefighters were already on the scene when the police arrived.

They were able to rescue the individual, who was conscious and injured in the upper body, and then transported him to the hospital.

His identity, like the circumstances that led to this event, remains unknown to the police at this time.

The scene is still protected by investigators.

Investigators are also monitoring the state of surveillance cameras, which belong to CN, to try to elucidate everything.
