In Colombia, while corals are in danger, scientists and volunteers are mobilizing.

The Colombian Caribbean is known for its turquoise waters and coral massifs. With global warming, the existence of this nature reserve is in danger. The descendants of the indigenous Zenu people intend to protect this little paradise. The best divers will descend several meters deep to verify what they have already observed. The protected corals come back to life in structures shaped by the hand of man.

Around the reef, the island’s divers have already emerged 25 statues. But before protecting the coral, they exploited it for tourism and commercial purposes. A past now gone. To avoid showing remorse, they now want to do more.
