Seven years since the RCT has not won a title. But the Toulonnais have the opportunity to put an end to the long wait for supporters this Friday evening at the Vélodrome. After an exceptional career, marked in particular by their victory in the semi-final against the English Saracens, they face Lyon in the final of the Challenge Cup, at 9 p.m. (kick-off). Not all tickets are sold yet

There are still places left this Thursday for this Challenge Cup final. To book, you can go to the Vélodrome website or the National Rugby League website. Tickets range from 15 to 55 euros. The majority of RCT supporters will be installed in the South bend. Some parts of the stadium, however, are full, this is particularly the case for the entire top and bottom of the Jean Bouin stand.

Some spectators have had their ticket for this final for several years now. Indeed, the finals of the two European rugby cups were originally to take place at the Vélodrome in 2020 but they were relocated because of the Covid-19. Same scenario in 2021. However, the places already reserved have been kept.

The RCT makes buses available to supporters

For this exceptional event, the club offers travel solutions to RCT supporters. Buses will leave Toulon on Friday at 4.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.. The meeting is given at the “Carpooling Sainte-Musse” bus stop opposite the RCT Campus, the club’s training centre. Supporters will be dropped off in the Parc Chanot car park, near the Vélodrome stadium. The return time will depend on the progress of the match but at present, the last departure for Toulon is scheduled for 0:30. The cost is 5 euros round trip included, 2.50 euros for children under 15 years old.

In addition to the club, groups of supporters also offer their members travel solutions to go to Marseille. This is particularly the case with the Z’Acraus of the RCT, the Sons of Besagne and the Corsaires de la Rade.

A free fan zone in Marseille

The party will not only be in the stands of the stadium.
