The list below mentions the cumulative duration of interventions by personalities considered to be linked to political groups by the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication (Arcom).
These durations of speaking time are recorded on a quarterly basis, in accordance with the deliberation of the Superior Audiovisual Council n°2017-62 of November 22, 2017, relating to the principle of political pluralism in radio and television services.
This text provides that for each quarter not including a national electoral campaign:
- the cumulative intervention time of the President of the Republic relating to the national political debate, his collaborators and members of the government must correspond to one third of the total intervention time;
- the intervention time enjoyed by political parties and groups which express the main directions of national political life must be distributed equitably, with regard to the elements of their representativeness as listed in said deliberation.
For further explanations, we invite you to consult the dedicated pages of the Arcom website.
