In a few months, the energy crisis has emerged as one of the subjects of concern in France for the coming winter. Between the slowdown in French nuclear production, the gas crisis linked to the war in Ukraine and the drought reducing the flow of rivers, the risk of power cuts has become very real in France.

In order to monitor the consumption and production of French electricity, franceinfo has set up an automated monitoring tool for various indicators. What are the electricity consumption forecasts? How many nuclear reactors are shut down? How much does gas, wind or solar weigh in our electricity production? Where are our gas stocks for the winter? So many questions to which our “EnergyBot” will make it possible to respond using data provided in real time, in particular by RTE, the operator of the electricity transmission network.
