While the potential buyers of Go Sport have until Friday March 10 to make themselves known and submit their offer, the main shareholder of Go Sport intends to keep the brand in its fold, learned this Friday franceinfo from union sources and judicial. According to information from franceinfo, Michel Ohayon intends to present a continuation plan to the Grenoble Commercial Court next week. The businessman will then have to show that he has enough money to put into the company, placed in receivership since the beginning of February.

This request seriously worries the staff representatives of Go Sport. They fear a rapid failure which risks leading to the pure and simple liquidation of the brand.

At the same time, Michal Ohayon dismissed the general manager of Go Sport. Patrick Puy, former boss of Vivarte, was appointed general manager of Go Sport in January in order to restructure the company. “He claims that I was a brake on a continuation plan”, confides to franceinfo Patrick Puy. The latter does not believe that the court will give its approval to such a plan which, according to him, requires injecting at least 50 to 60 million euros into the brand to save the stores and the employees.
