This reflection responds to a request from several associations, indicates the ministry. Patricia Miralles will entrust the general control of the armies, responsible for advising the minister and the secretary of state, with a mission which will make it possible to collect the expectations of the actors concerned on the creation of such a foundation, on the missions which would be assigned to it and on its articulation with other foundations dedicated to similar themes. This foundation would make the history of the harkis better known and remind people that they are veterans of the French army.
