The CNOSF in favor of a rise of the Entente Sportive Guérétoise! As established by the body and confirmed by the Ligue de Nouvelle-Aquitaine to France Bleu Creuse, the CNOSF asks the FFF to review its copy: Feytiat could well align his incriminated player, and the initial result (defeat of La Rochelle, endorsing the climb of Guéret) is valid. This is an almost decisive step in this file, which has been pending for a month. Details below.
It is a particularly technical file, from which Guéret could emerge victorious. On April 23, Feytiat won at La Rochelle (0-1), depriving La Rochelle of a National 3 climb, in favor of Guéret. Except that the Maritimes had filed an appeal : the player of Feytiat, Amara Traoré, should not have been aligned, because he was suspended.
Feytiat said that his player had served this suspension during a Coupe de Haute-Vienne match. Lie, replies La Rochelle, who accuses Feytiat of having aligned his reserve team and not his first team, as she had declared, in which case Amara Traoré could not have served his suspension, and should have done so against. .. La Rochelle. Implied, Feytiat would have circumvented his handicap to recover his player as quickly as possible. This is why Feytiat finally had, at first, a lost match, and therefore La Rochelle stole the climb from Guéret. Appeals had been filed by Feytiat and Guéret to contest.
But the trend has reversed with the opinion of the CNOSF, favorable to the two Limousin clubs : the body, only advisory, asks the Federation to review its decision, in other words, to go in the direction of Feytiat and Guéret. The FFF now has 15 days to issue its final opinion, but generally, in the vast majority of cases, it follows the CNOSF (we saw it again with the Girondins de Bordeaux recently). But the case may not stop there: La Rochelle could seize the administrative court… Time is running out now, since the first match of National 3 is scheduled for August 27 against Pau.
In the meantime, the Entente Sportive Guérétoise will play a friendly match in Déols on Friday, and another Saturday, in Guéret, against Saint-Jean d’Angély.
