And the level will go up a notch explains Arnaud Anquetil: “We will be able to accommodate 7 world tour teams, that is to say the ones currently competing in the Women’s Tour de France. So we are moving to the upper level of the category that we received for men.”

A stopover in each department of the former Basse-Normandie

For the first edition, the organizers of the Women’s Tour de Normandie naturally decided to turn to the cities that were used to hosting the Tour de Normandie. But for the moment the course is not stopped.

Even if we already know that it will take place in the former Basse-Normandie, where the interest of the communities is the strongest. Arnaud Anquetil simply told France Bleu: “We plan to make a stopover in each department.”

Other Norman communities that would be interested will obviously be able to contact the organizers for future editions.
