The annual pace of inflation eased somewhat in Canada last month, with the consumer price index rising to 6.3% year over year after posting a 6. 8% in November.
Statistics Canada indicates that the prices of food purchased in stores continued to rise sharply last month, but at a slightly slower pace than in November.
