Beneficiaries are deprived of the inflation allowance because they have not provided their bank details. According to’Urssaf, a million RIB are missing today. This concerns the self-employed, such as craftsmen, traders and home workers. For the Federation of auto-entrepreneurs, many do not know the steps to be taken. “It is not in their culture, they do not know how to do it, they have not seen the e-mail, they do not yet have this administrative and accounting reflex of entrusting their bank details to Urssaf”, explains Grégoire Leclercq, President of the National Federation of Self-Employed.
More than 600,000 self-employed workers as well as 400,000 home-based employees have already received the bonus of 100 euros. And for the others, it’s not too late. “From January, we will target self-employed workers who are entitled to inflation compensation but who have not yet received it […] and therefore we will remake payments in January, in February in particular, as we receive these bank details “, informs Yann-Gaël Amghar, director ofUrssaf. L’Urssaf assures him, the inflation compensation will already be paid to 1.8 million of its beneficiaries by Christmas, or two-thirds of eligible people.
