Inflation: after Quebec, Saskatchewan offers $500 to its taxpayers

After Quebec, it is now Saskatchewan’s turn to offer a $500 check to all taxpayers.

“This fall, our government will send a check for $500 to everyone 18 and older in Saskatchewan,” Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe announced on Twitter on Monday.

Thus, to cope with the rising cost of living, the government has chosen to give to the population.

“You own the resources and you should benefit when the costs go up,” Moe said in a video after explaining that Saskatchewan’s economy is doing well.
