infidelities and intimate moments before Felipe’s eyes, his supposed lover lets go

He’s sure of it! Letizia from Spain

would have a relationship with a man other than Felipe. Despite their marriage in 2004, the love story between the two would not be all rosy. In any case, this is what Jaime Peñafiel, royal chronicler, assures in his book Letizia y yo (Letizia and me) published by the editions Almuzar. Through this work, he makes numerous revelations and evokes a relationship “very ambiguous” between the queen and one of her relatives “friends” named Jaime Del Burgo.

Indeed, in his book, Jaime Peñafiel questioned the queen’s supposed ex-lover. Yet presented as a “just a friend” of Letiziaher role would in reality be quite different in the heart of the queen according to her statements relayed by our colleagues fromParis Match

. “Jaime del Burgo is said to have met Letizia in the early 2000s, when she was beginning her career in the media. (…) Letizia has just divorced Alonso Guerrero, her high school literature teacher, whom she had married in 1998. The two lovers meet in hotels of which Jaime del Burgo draws up an exhaustive list: the Santo Mauro in Madrid, the Danieli in Venice and even the Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona.can we read in the work as relayed Paris Match.

Letizia from Spain, still so close to her supposed ex-companion?

Jaime Del Burgo was going to ask Letizia in marriage when she told him that another man had entered her life: Felipe de Bourbon. Despite her attraction to the king, she would have asked her supposed ex-lover, the day before their union, why he had not “not proposed to marry”. Despite their “separation”, Jaime maintains an important role with the queen. This even makes him the uncle of Leonor and Sofia, born in 2005 and 2007. Jaime Peñafiel also reveals in his work that the story between the lovers would never have really stopped: “One day (the reader will never know which one…), at the edge of the swimming pool, lying in hammocks facing each other, Jaime and Letizia would have let their hearts speak again: ‘How I ‘love!’ she said to him, ‘Me too’ would he have caught fire”.

Moreover, Letizia from Spain and Jaime del Burgo would not hesitate to hold hands in front of everyone according to the royal chronicler. And this, even when Felipe is present. “When I visited Madrid, we always went to the cinema on weekends with Felipe, Letizia and a few friends. Letizia and I always sat next to each other, holding hands. Those were moments of happiness”for example confided Jaime del Burgo.
