We often see her with her mother, in the front row at Fashion Week. But theater enthusiasts know Nine d’Urso, the daughter of Inès de la Fressange, also on the boards. The young woman, 28, embarked on a career as an actress after having deprived herself of everything for a long time, for fear of comparison. “My mother is not Madonna eithershe explains, however, in the columns of the magazine Gala. But it is always present. To be systematically associated with it, one would have to accept it, make fun of it completely, or act as if it did not exist, which would be quite suspicious. After having abandoned the benches of Normale-Sup, Nine d’Urso was accepted into the three-year course of the National Theater School of Lille. She had learned to savor the sixth art thanks to a friend of her father – Luigi d’Urso, who died when she was 12 – who brought her to see shows twice a week. And here she is, an actress. Nine d’Urso notably played on the stage of the Théâtre des Amandiers, in Nanterre or at the Opéra de Nancy. And when she’s not playing, she’s campaigning.
Today, I’m single and I think it’s very good
Nine d’Urso is indeed very involved in the fight against discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community. And for good reason, the actress does not put any label on the people she likes, men or women. “I dated a girl for a while and saw how hard it could beshe says.
